God Loves You! <웨스트힐 장로교회> 오명찬목사

       1. These days I ponder upon God’s unchanging love towards us over and over again because I constantly find the one same truth in the 66 books of the Bible, that is, “God loves us MORE THAN we can ever think or imagine.”
   2. Did you know that His love for us is far more than able to endure all our repetitive failures, all our redundant frustrations, and even all our faithless reactions? “For great is His steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 117:2).
   3. No parents in the world would break their toddlers’ legs just because their children failed to walk themselves. Then, how much more our heavenly Father who knows our weaknesses will have compassion on us when we, His children, stumble or fail to walk?
   4. What is more, God, unlike human beings, does not have a LIMIT to His patience. He neither becomes impatient nor irritated by our continual mistakes, because of what Jesus Christ has already done for us.
   5. Even though we say to Him, “God, it’s me again. I’m so sorry…” 490 times a day, God will surely forgive us if we confess our sins (Matthew 18:21-22; 1 John 1:9). The Lord will consider it as if we commit a sin for the very first time in our life because He promised that He would not remember our confessed sins (Isaiah 43:25).
   6. God, our Creator, exactly knows how we are formed that we are from dust (Psalm 103:14). So, don’t ever be embarrassed to continue to ask Him for His help. Never stop calling on His name. Never stop running back to the cross of Calvary. Remember that His love endures not just 7 times, not just 490 times, but FOREVER.
